After two editions dedicated to building the foundations of an insurance strategy for Poland’s nuclear energy programme, we are now entering a new phase. As work on the first nuclear project advances, it is becoming increasingly clear what insurance and reinsurance need to deliver today - and how the market should prepare for the projects ahead.

 

This is why Smartt Re will once again bring together Polish and international insurance and reinsurance experts to exchange experience and discuss how market capacity and expertise in Poland should continue to evolve.

 

The discussions will focus on, among others:

• insurance and reinsurance solutions supporting the construction of Poland’s first nuclear power plant,
• the expectations of financing institutions towards the insurance market,
• differences in risk profiles between large-scale nuclear projects and SMR investments,
